The New Horizons Community Charter School Curriculum Team supports the articulation, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the school's curricular programming. Members of the team help to build a professional and knowledgeable network within the school. K-8 Mathematics Program: enVision Mathematics
Our math curriculum is powered by enVision Mathematics, designed to inspire a love for math while building a solid foundation for future success. The comprehensive K-8 curriculum emphasizes problem-solving, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding, engaging students with real-world applications that make math both relevant and exciting.
The program offers personalized support for all learners, ensuring students who need additional reinforcement or enrichment are appropriately challenged. Students benefit from a balance of hands-on, visual, and abstract learning approaches, helping them make connections between mathematical concepts.
Additionally, enVision Mathematics provides enrichment opportunities for students exceeding grade-level expectations, allowing them to explore advanced topics and extend their learning. With a focus on developing a growth mindset and deep mastery of math concepts, our program prepares students for academic success in high school and beyond.

Somos una escuela del Proyecto Teachers College (TC). Eso significa que durante el año escolar 2018-2019, en las áreas de lectura y escritura, nuestros maestros recibirán desarrollo profesional a través de nuestro trabajo como escuela asociada con el Proyecto de lectura y escritura de Teachers College. Los estudios sociales trabajan en conjunto con ELA. Utilizamos el programa MyWorld Social Studies, diseñado para brindarles a los estudiantes experiencias que los ayuden a participar en la comunidad y a ser ciudadanos.
